My following article below was originally published by SERIOUS WONDER:
In the early morning night of April 28, residents of Arkansas were awoken in fright as a devastating tornado ripped through their neighborhoods. It left behind nothing but destruction, with at least 17 reported deaths so far. As rescue workers scramble throughout several counties, weather reporters are on the ground, tweeting the devastation seen at eyes length.
What reporters and rescue workers can’t see, however, drones in the sky are easily capturing.
Using a drone-mounted video camera, Stormchaser and KATV photojournalist Brian Emfinger was able to get a birds-eye view of Arkansas and a chilling look into the destruction the tornado left in its path.
